Stepwell/Walkwell Custom AFOs
Walkwell is committed to providing the best service, and fabricate the highest quality, most effective custom orthoses available. The Stepwell/Walkwell Custom AFO is guaranteed for materials, workmanship, and function for 90 days commencing 14 days after you receive your shipment, provided we receive an acceptable impression of the patient’s limb. (*Cast criteria is available by contacting customer service*)
Our facility will contact you to report sub-par casts before fabrication commences.
If there is a problem in this time period, we will, at our option, adjust, repair, or replace the Stepwell/Walkwell Custom AFO. Inappropriate wear on the orthosis, misuse, or damage due to water submersion, are not covered by the warranty. Any adjustments or alterations performed on the AFO not authorized or performed by Walkwell, will void the warranty.
If a problem is noted, the clinician should contact customer service immediately, and any concerns of the patient or family should be communicated to Walkwell. After evaluating the patient’s specific needs, we will determine the most efficient course of action to assist you and your patient, and recommend any action you may need to undertake.
Return Process:The clinician should contact customer service during business hours, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM MST and a return authorization number will be provided. To obtain a R.A. number, provide the following information.

- Original order number
- Patient name

- A new invoice will be issued for the replacement orthosis
- After the returned item has been reviewed by Walkwell, Walkwell will issue a full credit if the return is a result of a Walkwell manufacturing error
- Return shipping charges must be prepaid
